San Elijo Hills was voted Master Planned Community of

2002.
San
Elijo Hills is a coastal North County master-planned community
that was designed with the goal of creating a family-oriented
and pedestrian-friendly community. The developer released
the first homes in 2001. Since that time, the neighborhood
has grown to over 4,600 residents. It is still in its infancy
and will be home to 3398 residential units, retail shops,
professional businesses, three neighborhood parks, an elementary
& middle school, church, daycare center, 234 acre regional
recreation area and 18 miles of trails.
