San Elijo Hills Tree Lighting
This Friday - December 5, 7-9pm, Town Square

Don’t miss the Annual San Elijo Hills Community Tree Lighting which will be held on Friday, December 5 from 7-9 pm in the Town Square. This event will go on, rain or shine!!!! The traditional lighting of the San Elijo Hills tree will take place at 7:45 pm. Join your neighbors for some hot cider, coffee and cookies. This year, San Elijo Hills will support Straight From the Heart, Inc, a local charity that supports foster children. If you would like to make a donation, please bring it to the Visitor Center between 10 am and 5 pm.

Holiday Food Drive
December 9 and 10, Sponsored by Homtown Realty

Don’t miss this year’s Holiday Food Drive sponsored by Hometown Realty here in San Elijo Hills on December 9 and 10. It’s such an easy way to give back and make a difference for families and children struggling right here in our community. Watch for the grocery bag to show up in front of your house. It will contain instructions for how to participate and the food collected will be donated to the North County Food Bank. Don’t miss being part of this neighborhood tradition!

Holiday Village
December 6, 3-8pm and December 7, 9am-3:30pm,
San Marcos Community Center

The Annual Santa’s Magical Village will take place Saturday, December 6 from 3 to 8 pm and Sunday, December 7 from 9 am to 3:30 pm. The event will be held at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive and is presented by the City of San Marcos. Visitors may shop for special holiday gifts while browsing through the many arts and crafts booths. This child-sized magical village will offer free activities for children including ornament making, sand art, decorating holiday candles and more! Band Fundraiser
December 12, Barnes & Noble in Encinitas

Head out to Barnes & Noble in Encinitas on December 12 to support the Golden Eagle music program. The event will be all day and a portion of proceeds go directly to the music program. Time your holiday shopping for this date so the school can benefit. You can download a flyer off the website.
